The Online Written Test takes place on August 29 at 9:00 AM, followed by Contestant Pool Selection on September 19.

Contest details and award information
The contest will focus on student knowledge of Indian culture, heritage, history, geography, traditions, arts, literature, and general awareness.
The competition begins with an online written test, advances to a selected high-scorer pool, and concludes with the Culture Bee Crown Question.
Awards
Two top participants—one boy and one girl—will each receive $2,500 deposited into a 529 college savings plan.

How the Competition Works
Advancement Process
Students move through three approved stages, from the online cultural knowledge test to the high-scorer pool and the final Culture Bee Crown Question.
Stage 1
August 29, 9:00 AM
Online Written Test
All registered participants will take an online cultural knowledge test on the morning of August 29 at 9:00 AM. Scores will be evaluated to identify the highest performers across all age groups.
Stage 2
September 19
Contestant Pool Selection
From the high-scorer pool, a Contestant Pool will be selected on September 19. These students represent the top cultural achievers and will advance to the final stage of the competition.
Stage 3
Crown Question
Final Cultural Challenge — The Culture Bee Crown Question
A lucky draw will select one contestant from the high-scorer pool. That contestant will answer the Culture Bee Crown Question—a single, high-value cultural question that determines the winners of the Cultural Excellence Awards.
